Make dry assemblies quicker and easier with these reusable 3D-printable dry-fit tenons designed for the Festool DOMINO DF 500 system.

Instead of sanding down wooden DOMINO tenons for test assemblies, these printed tenons are designed to provide a removable fit that allows furniture parts to be assembled, checked and taken apart again before the final glue-up.

The set includes all standard DF 500 sizes.

This makes them a practical and economical workshop solution that can be printed once and reused across multiple projects.

The tenons are intended specifically for dry fitting, test assembly and alignment. They are not designed for structural use and should not replace wooden DOMINO tenons in the final glued joint.

Compatibility

Designed for use with mortises produced by the Festool DOMINO DF 500 system in the corresponding D4, D5, D6, D8 and D10 sizes.

The models must be printed at their original scale. Because the fit depends on dimensional accuracy, a well-calibrated printer is recommended.

Depending on your printer, filament and extrusion calibration, minor slicer adjustments may be required to achieve your preferred fit.

Recommended Material

PETG or PLA

PETG is recommended where additional toughness and repeated use are desired. PLA is also suitable for normal dry-fitting applications and provides good dimensional accuracy on most printers.

Recommended Print Settings

The following settings provide a good starting point and may need to be adjusted depending on your printer, filament and slicer:

• Infill: 30% or higher
• Supports: Not required
• Print orientation: Print flat on the largest surface or standing upright
• Scale: 100%

Dimensional accuracy is particularly important for this product. If the tenons fit too tightly or too loosely, check printer calibration and extrusion settings before changing the model scale.

This is a digital STL download only. No physical tenons, Festool tools, wooden DOMINO tenons or other accessories are included.

These printed tenons are intended exclusively for dry fitting, alignment and temporary test assembly. They are not structural joining elements and must not be used as a replacement for wooden DOMINO tenons in finished or load-bearing joints.

Print results and fit may vary depending on your printer, filament, slicer settings and calibration.
